Tape-In Hair Extensions involve strips of medical-grade adhesive that are attached to the top of the hair extension which is then attached to the root of your hair. Also known as Skin Weft Extensions or Seamless Hair Extensions, these hair extensions do what they say on the tin as they blend seamlessly into your natural hair.
Not only are almost invisible, they are also flexible! There are so many things you can do with Tape Extensions that you cannot do with clips, such as wearing them in any type of hairstyle including braids, super high ponytails and more.

We work with the best quality hair in the UK, including 100% Remy human hair for a natural, seamless blend.

We have a range of hair extension lengths and custom colours so that you can find the perfect extensions.
Our expert hair stylists apply Tape-In Hair Extensions using a straightforward and relatively quick application method that involves adhering the extensions to sections of your natural hair with a special adhesive tape.
Before the application, your hair will be washed and thoroughly dried to ensure it is free of oils and products that could interfere with the adhesive. We will then section off the natural hair into clean, straight horizontal lines to help apply the extensions evenly and ensure a seamless blend. A small section of natural hair, about the same width as the Tape-In Extension strip, will be selected.
One of our skilled stylists will peel off the backing of the tape and press the sticky side of the extension strip onto the selected section of hair near the roots, leaving a small gap from the scalp to avoid tension. Another extension strip is placed underneath the same section of natural hair, sandwiching the natural hair between two tape-in extension strips. This creates a secure bond to ensure that the extensions stay in place.
Once all the tape-in extensions are applied, we will trim and blend the extensions to match the natural hair length and desired style, ensuring a seamless and natural look. Tape-In Extensions are reusable for up to a year, and they are good for 3-4 applications. Being able to reuse your hair extensions is such a benefit, especially if you have had your extensions customised with a cut or colour.
Removing tape-in hair extensions involves a gentle and careful process to ensure that both the extensions and natural hair remain intact and undamaged.
One of our expert stylist will apply a special Tape-In Extension remover or solvent to the adhesive bonds of the extensions. This remover is usually an alcohol or oil-based solution designed to break down the adhesive and loosen the bond without damaging the hair. Once the adhesive has been sufficiently loosened, your skilled stylist will carefully slide the tape-in extensions out of your natural hair. This step requires patience and a gentle touch to avoid pulling or tugging, which can cause hair breakage. After all the extensions are removed, the natural hair will be washed and conditioned thoroughly to remove any remaining solvent or adhesive residue.
This step also helps to restore moisture and ensure the hair is clean and ready for any further styling or treatments.
If the extensions are to be reused, they are cleaned and prepared for reapplication. The natural hair is checked for any signs of damage or stress, and appropriate aftercare advice is given to maintain hair health. By following these steps, Tape-In Hair Extensions can be safely and effectively removed, allowing for a seamless transition whether you’re taking a break from extensions or preparing for a new application.
